Grass Roots ensures that the personally identifiable information you provide is securely stored on computer servers in a controlled, secure environment, protected (including encryption where required) from unauthorised access, use or disclosure.
The App is downloaded onto a cardholder’s Smartphone through an Android or IOS supported App store. The App is downloaded to the cardholder’s phone and will be hosted there. The App has a ‘Remember Me’ function whereby, through the use of Cookies, the cardholder’s unique nine digit Card ID can be inserted automatically by the App when opening the App on a Smartphone. The cardholder’s password is still required, in conjunction with the Card ID to gain access to the App. Any cardholder specific information displayed through the App is not stored on the smartphone and is refreshed each time a page is navigated to within the App or the cardholder logs into the App. If the cardholder’s smartphone is not connected to the internet, the cardholder cannot log in.
Grass Roots does not sell, rent or lease any of the personal information collected from you to third parties.
Grass Roots does not use or disclose sensitive personal information, such as race, religion, or political affiliations (in the event that we become aware of any), without your explicit consent.
Grass Roots will only disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or when such action is believed necessary to: (a) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on Grass Roots or the sites; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Grass Roots; and, (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the website, our cards, or the public.
